Project Evaluation
The specialists and experts of the platform select and publish projects that have passed the selection process, which includes financial situation analysis, legal expertise, and collateral evaluation.
The analysis is conducted through both qualitative indicators, such as real business experience, business diversification, management experience, and the business reputation of the borrower and the ultimate beneficiaries of the business, and quantitative indicators, such as the assessment of the financial stability and solvency of the borrower.
Based on the evaluation results, each application is assigned a credit rating that reflects the likelihood of payment default and the potential level of investor losses.
Collateral Evaluation and Registration
The platform evaluates the value, actual condition, liquidity of the collateral, and assesses legal risks. Before a project is published, the value of the collateral is additionally assessed, which can be found in the project description. The LTV (Loan-to-Value) ratio is calculated based on the results of this evaluation.
The loan amount is transferred to the borrower from a special account after the collateral is registered in the real estate registry of the Republic of Moldova. Once the transaction is recorded in the real estate registry, the platform acts as the collateral administrator.
Handling Overdue Debt
If the borrower fails to meet their obligations under the loan agreement, the platform, acting as an agent on its own behalf, undertakes actions to collect overdue debts, including initiating legal and enforcement proceedings. The platform informs the investor about the actions aimed at debt recovery by placing information in the investor’s personal account.
